It’s rare to spot a cheetah on safari, so we were very lucky to come across one on our first day. Dusk was falling on the Masai Mara when we saw a lone Cheetah in the distance – as it got closer we realized that it was stalking a herd of impala nearby!
Cheetahs are the fastest of all land animals, reaching speeds of up to 70mph on a chase, so we were all hoping for a real show – unfortunately (or not, depending on your sympathies!), the impala seemed to sense the cheetah’s presence, and with surprise lost, it seemed to lose interest.
Awesome!!!
